Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Qiwako, a multi-tenant Content Management System (CMS) platform ("Service", "Platform", or "Qiwako"). By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you are using Qiwako on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Description of Service
Qiwako is a multi-tenant CMS platform that provides:
- Content Management: Tools to create, edit, and publish pages, blog posts, and media content
- Multi-Tenancy: Isolated tenant organizations with dedicated workspaces
- User Management: Role-based access control and authentication systems
- Donation Management: Campaign creation and donation tracking capabilities
- Analytics: Usage tracking and reporting tools
- Security Features: Multi-factor authentication, audit logging, and access controls
- Additional Features: SEO tools, contact forms, pop-up announcements, and more
Account Registration and Security
3.1 Account Creation
To use Qiwako, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid email address
- A unique username
- A secure password meeting our security requirements
- Organization/tenant information (for tenant administrators)
3.2 Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Ensuring your account information is accurate and up-to-date
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
3.3 Account Security
We strongly recommend:
- Using a strong, unique password
- Enabling multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Not sharing your account credentials with others
- Logging out after each session on shared devices
User Roles and Permissions
Qiwako implements role-based access control with the following roles:
- SUPERUSER: Full system access across all tenants (platform administrators only)
- TENANT_ADMIN: Full access within their tenant organization
- DONATION_ADMIN: Can manage donations and financial reports
- EDITOR: Can create and edit content (pages, posts, media)
- VIEWER: Read-only access to content
- DEMO USER: Read-only access for demonstration purposes
Each role has specific permissions and limitations. You agree to use the platform only within the scope of your assigned role.
Acceptable Use Policy
5.1 Permitted Uses
You may use Qiwako for lawful purposes, including:
- Creating and managing website content
- Running donation campaigns for legitimate causes
- Publishing blog posts and articles
- Managing organizational communications
5.2 Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to use Qiwako for:
- Illegal Activities: Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws
- Harmful Content: Content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or promotes violence
- Fraud: Deceptive practices, scams, or fraudulent donation campaigns
- Spam: Unsolicited bulk messages or automated content generation
- Malware: Uploading viruses, malware, or malicious code
- Unauthorized Access: Attempting to access other tenants' data or system resources
- Security Violations: Bypassing security measures or exploiting vulnerabilities
- Resource Abuse: Excessive use of system resources that impacts other users
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Uploading copyrighted material without permission
- Impersonation: Pretending to be another person or organization
Content Ownership and Licensing
6.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or publish on Qiwako ("Your Content"). This includes:
- Pages and blog posts
- Media files (images, documents)
- Campaign descriptions and donation information
- Comments and user-generated content
6.2 License to Qiwako
By uploading Your Content to Qiwako, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
- Store, process, and display Your Content as necessary to provide the Service
- Make backup copies for disaster recovery purposes
- Perform technical operations (e.g., WebP image optimization)
This license terminates when you delete Your Content or close your account, except for backup copies retained for disaster recovery.
6.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for Your Content and the consequences of publishing it. You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the necessary rights to Your Content
- Your Content does not violate any third-party rights
- Your Content complies with these Terms and applicable laws
6.4 Qiwako's Content
The Qiwako platform, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Qiwako and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the platform.
Tenant Isolation and Data Security
7.1 Multi-Tenant Architecture
Qiwako uses a multi-tenant architecture where each tenant organization's data is logically isolated. You agree that:
- You will not attempt to access other tenants' data
- You understand that tenant administrators have full control over their organization's data
- Cross-tenant data access is strictly prohibited
7.2 Superuser Access
Superusers (platform administrators) may access tenant data only:
- With explicit authorization via temporary access tokens generated by tenant administrators
- For emergency access requests approved through the proper channels
- For system maintenance and security purposes
- All superuser access is logged and audited
Donations and Financial Transactions
8.1 Donation Campaigns
If you create donation campaigns on Qiwako, you agree that:
- All campaign information must be accurate and truthful
- Funds must be used for the stated purpose
- You will provide transparency reports as required
- You comply with all applicable fundraising regulations
8.2 Qiwako's Role
Qiwako provides tools for donation management but:
- We are not responsible for the accuracy of campaign information
- We do not verify the legitimacy of campaigns
- We do not handle payment processing directly
- Donors and campaign organizers are responsible for their transactions
8.3 Prohibited Campaigns
You may not create campaigns for:
- Illegal activities or purposes
- Fraudulent or deceptive causes
- Hate groups or discriminatory organizations
- Terrorist activities or violence
Service Availability and Support
9.1 Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee:
- 100% uptime or uninterrupted access
- Error-free operation
- Specific performance levels
We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect service availability.
9.2 Support
Support is provided based on your subscription plan. We will make reasonable efforts to respond to support requests but do not guarantee specific response times.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Qiwako is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
- We are not responsible for data loss (you should maintain your own backups)
- We are not liable for third-party actions or content
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Qiwako, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your Content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Deleting your account through the dashboard
- Contacting our support team
11.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your account is inactive for an extended period
- We are required to do so by law
- Your use poses a security risk to the platform
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service will be revoked
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days (unless legally required to retain)
- You remain responsible for any outstanding obligations
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending an email notification to registered users (for significant changes)
Your continued use of Qiwako after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
